【Record of Activity】
Five seminars have been held since November 2010 for the purpose of compiling the publication containing the final outcomes, and this seminar discussed the final Volume 6, The Handbook for Sustainable Humanosphere. Volume 6 has a slightly different significance from the previous volumes, its goal being to link G-COE research outcomes with the education of the next generation. Overall, it is comprised of three sections, Section 1, Towards Sustainable Humanosphere Theory; Section 2, The View from Sustainable Humanosphere Theory; and Section 3, A Glossary of Sustainable Humanosphere Theory. In this seminar, an explanation of the overall framework of Volume 6 was firstly given by the editor, Professor Yasushi Tonaga. Following this, and especially focusing on Section 2, lively discussions were held, in which specific separate topics were taken up after a report was given on the framework of each section. The complete volume was checked and examined, and discussions were held on both the contents and format of each section. During the discussions, proposals were put forward for amendments and the insertion of several important new additions for each of the sections.
